Well the horse was sent off to the glue factory and the rest were under dictatorship pretty much slaves with no free will. I wouldn't exactly call that the best life....
Well honestly reading the book is seriously the best way of finding out. But in my opinion pretty bad. Read the book and you will understand why I say that
