The Green Mile by Stephen King

Ok at first this book seems a little different than the other works of Stephen king but no in the end it came out that it's another master piece of Stephen King. Originally this book was in 6 parts (The Two Dead Girls, The Mouse on the Mile, Coffey's Hands, The Bad Death of Eduard Delacroix, Night Journey, and Coffey on the Mile). It’s a must read for everyone.

    The Green Mile

this is the best book Stephen King has written to this point in his already illustrious (and extensive) career. It is the best because it is not basically a thriller (like 'Salem's Lot) or straight up horror (like Carrie or Misery), in lieu, it is a book filled with beauty and simplicity, and simultaneously brutality and murder. While at some times in his career Mr. King has become carried away with gore and sprctacle, he doesn't make that mistake in this book.

Easily one of King's top five greatest books ever.

I enjoyed reading IT and Carrie but I haven't read Green Mile yet. I will definitely look for it.

I think The Green Mile is one of King's best but not the best. When it comes to King, everyone has their favorite. Mine happens to be his second novel--Salem's Lot.

I'm very keen on reading this.
I recently read Misery and The Shining but this is the one I want to get my hands on the most. The movie was brilliant but I always prefer to read the book.

This was a fun read and made more interesting as it came out as a serial. Still have the set of small paperbacks somewhere around the house.
"Lennie said, "I thought you was mad at me, George."
"No," said George. "No Lennie. I ain't mad. I never been mad, an' I ain't now. Thats a thing I want ya to know."

Its really great books, when I was reading I think I have skipped 2 time meals, because it has many suspense scenes.
