In the interchange of cultural backgrounds I faced in the world, never found a clearly defined "man" or "woman". There is a predominant gender in a person but always there are some traits from the opposite side (see Schehrezade avatar).

So, I guess it would be difficult to determine how much progesterone or testosterone has the forum.

Lets assume half and half, and celebrate!!

This begs the question. Why so few book clubs for men? Yet, you see most literature forums half filled with men.

Which is why the poll does not ask whether you are a man or woman but simply your gender... Which is a biological classification.

PS: I will be going back to my "avatar" shortly. Worry not.

Though I kind of believe gender is a spectrum instead of a black and white classifcation, I kind of wonder why it matters what the male to female ratio is of anything. It kind of seems like it's like looking for something to be sexist about. But I'm hypersensitive about these things so feel free to ignore me

Only by a small percent there is an increase in number of men.

For me, this exposed an inner sexism I had. I'd expected to be vastly outnumbered by females, and that assumption was promptly turned on its head.
