    Walking on the ground

    Walking on the ground
    Comes the spring
    The past is away
    Like the cold winter fading
And it sleeps in the memory
Forgetfulness is the wild grass growing
That covers the hurts and pains
    Tell me when
The flowers of freedom will blossom
    And when it comes
    I shall tear with laughter

Very emblematic in point of fact. I find every line here quite arresting. Suffused with a desperate past and the arrival of a new present. Of course in life we have memorizes of pains, agonies, torturous moments, tragic situations, estrangements. Yet the poem heralds a dawn with this new hopes, feelings, and a very promissory futures and all our moments of sadness will slumber in a memory chamber and and our new developments, achievements, or progresses will grow as the wild grasses that will cover all our griefs and all we disturbing emotions.

This is a wonderful poem and I find it entirely fascinating.

“Those who seek to satisfy the mind of man by hampering it with ceremonies and music and affecting charity and devotion have lost their original nature””

“If water derives lucidity from stillness, how much more the faculties of the mind! The mind of the sage, being in repose, becomes the mirror of the universe, the speculum of all creation.

The title alone captivated me - and the whole of the poem lived up to that down to earth unpretentiousness. A pleasure to read. Thanks.

"That covers the hurts and pains"

    Kick this line out.

The reader says, "Oh, this poet is so skillful
I know his hurts and pains without his telling me."
