    General literature and national literature?

    Hello everyone,

I should be very grateful if anyone of you would answer my question which is about the definitions of general literature and national literature and what is the main difference between both of them?

    Kind regards

general literature is written by war generals. robert e lee has published his memoirs of the civil war, that is great general literature. Ulysses was really good too, i think Grant or Paton wrote it, phenomenal general literature.

National literature is anything written by black americans during the period of 1949 to 1969. It was originally named after the first name of The Black Panthers, they were called The National Panther Society for The Advancement of Colored People and Panthers. It was a weird kind of joint equal rights/ecological thing. Anyway, some famous black writers during the national literature period were Harriet Tubman, Joseph Conrad, Chinua Achebe, Frederick Douglass, Maya Angelou, and Rosa Parks.
