Oh my God, do the Dutch always play such a boring game? What is it with passing backwards for that often? I saw they had a 79% posession at one point, and I bet 66% was back and forth in the backfied between the defenders and the goalie. That had to be the most boring half of the world cup to date. At least Japan tried at times. I bet on the Dutch but frankly I hope they lose.

As to that USA goal that was disallowed, the referee is under review:

What a horrible call that really cost the US a victory.

    Virgil,

You most certainly know more about football than I do as I am not paticularly interested in it. However, I did see that disallowed US goal and was amazed that it was ruled out. The Slovenian players would be better off playing rugby by the way they literally grappled US players to the ground. I am astounded that their behaviour was allowed by the referee. The US should have the goal allowed and the tournament proceed from thereon in.
As your video clip implies, the referee may have had his own reasons to fix the game in favour of a draw.

Yes it is certaily the worst decision of the world cup so far.

Virgil, the dutch are famed for their fast flowing attacking style, they usually push forward relentlessly and are often extremely good to watch. However, this side for whatever reason seem pretty dull. Surely they must come out stronger in the second half though? I've been disappointed in the European teams this world cup, though to be fair the records show that European sides outside of Europe do not perform well in the world cup.

I'm going for Ghana win 3 coins.

Edit: Even though I'm hearing rumours of match fixing. Apparently a lot of money has gone on Australia from an Asian syndicate, I don't know, we'll see - look out for any dodgy stuff.

Thank you Snowqueen. Let's see what happens after today. I did win with the Dutch. So I'm not going to be scrapped I think. Maybe tomorrow I'll take you up on it. Thank you.

@papayahed, my guess with the draw between Netherlands and Japan went apparently wrong, meaning I'm down to 20 Austens by now.

I told you, the rumours were spot on, that keeper was paid. FIX.

How now, the keeper was paid? But that would mean cheating wouldn't it?
