I've thrown caution to the wind earlier in the tournament, you know... Not this time.

No, no. I'd just risk it all on Ivory Coast.

You know, Portugal really impressed me. I'm going to take a chance on them. And while Japan did look good, it's really tough to go against the South American countries. They seem to be the tops of this world cup.

20 on Paraguay, they are playing very well in this world cup.

I am now paying the price for not being adventorous enough with my bets so today:

    600 Paraguay

    1200 Spain

    Sorry, Atheist.

I usually check the bids from my last post onwards and your bet was placed much earlier than that so I missed it.

    ATM:

    Bill: 10

    Dodo25: 680

    Jester: 100

    Kilted: 850

    Lulim: 130

    Mark: Out!

    Neely: 220

    Niamh: 550

    Papaya: 295

    Paul : 328

    Pren: 199

    Scher: 1140

    Snowqueen: 390

    The Atheist: 400

    Turquoise: 170

    Virgil: 290

    Paraguay vs Japan

    Niamh: Paraguay (300)

    Kilted: Paraguay (600)

    Neely: Paraguay (30)

    Snowqueen: Paraguay (20)

    Virgil: Paraguay (50)

    Lulim: Japan (10)

    Bill: Japan (5)

    Turquoise: Paraguay (100)

    Atheist: Paraguay (400)

    Papaya: Paraguay (100)

    Paul: Japan (50)

    Dodo: Paraguay (240)

    Scher: Paraguay (640)

Why do I have to work so many hours during the best time of the Cup??? I won't even be able to watch this one

And I will actually be very happy if Japan goes through but looking at the track records of the teams, Paraguay seems like more likely to win.

Japan is not giving up. The game is cruising towards penalties isn't it?

It's a good game. Paraguy knows they're bigger than the Japanese and are pushing them around. They are manhandling them. Hope the Japanese can pull it out.

I love watching penalty shootouts! This one was quite intense, I was actually hoping Japan would win, because y'all bet so much on Paraguay.. But 5/5 penalties in is just an excellent performance.

Tonight's game is very open, it will be very interesting (won't bet anything)..

And then: Two days without games!! I need to find some other activity to pass time, otherwise I might get withdrawal symptoms..
