    Atelophobia- Fear of imperfection.
I read the entire list and didnt find my biggest fear! Fear of ignorance. That stuff gives me nightmares......
Oh, and also Fear of politicians and conformity. That should be about it for me..
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

Take this as a fun post. I hope no one really has any of these phobias. But I found a few humorous or relevant to lit net.

Wiccaphobia: Fear of witches and witchcraft
Oh doesn't MacBeth wish he had had this.

    Technophobia- Fear of technology.
Well, as an engineer, I would be out of a job if I had this.

Teutophobia- Fear of German or German things.
Perhaps if Sleepywitch has me read another Shakespeare play (like Antony and Cleopatra) and then not join the discussion I may get this.

Theophobia- Fear of gods or religion.
If you get involved in some of the religious thread fights around here, one can easily acquire this.

    Venustraphobia- Fear of beautiful women.
This one is too easy to make a joke with. I'll just have to let it pass.

    Menophobia- Fear of menstruation.
I have this. Really I do. If I should happen to start mensturating, I'm going to be really really scared.

    Proctophobia- Fear of rectums.
    Why are rectums so funny?

    Ideophobia- Fear of ideas.
Are they usually high school drop outs?

Anglophobia- Fear of England or English culture, etc.
    Also know as the French.

    Peladophobia- Fear of bald people.
At my age, just about all the men I know are bald or almost bald.

    Chaetophobia- Fear of hair.
What if you have both Peladophobia and Chaetophobia at the same time?

    Gamophobia- Fear of marriage.
I know lots of men with this. Lots.

Spheksophobia is me! I've been absolutely terrified of any stinging, hovering insect for as long as I remember, but wasps especially. I see one and I shrink away, hunch my shoulders up, pull my hands up to my chest or face, and whimper involuntarily.

I got stung for the first time last summer. Landed on my hand, I flip out and scrape it off really quick, whimper-squealing pathetically. Didn't even know I'd been stung until about thirty seconds later. "Oh! Ow." Like pricking myself with a needle, only tinier (not less intense... just smaller in size) and continual. It sort of swelled, and it itched but every time I touched it I felt like I was pricking myself again. It was gone before the day was out. Not a big deal, right? Right. So I figured next time I saw a wasp, I'd be able to approach the situation more rationally, right? Wrong. Another wasp the next day--shrink, hunch, hand-clasping, whimper, "Daaaad... Daaad, heeellllp...."

Oooh, that and needles. Just seeing one--not going in or anything, just sitting there--makes me feel sick.

    Come closer, dear reader.

phobia...I guess the closest phobia for me is arachnaphobia... otherwise most things don't bug me, I used to be afraid of the dark, and I suppose I used to have necrophobia, and a fea of hites, but not anymore (especially after 2 years of bio major) but spiders, for some reason still make me jump, just before I squash'em into the next world, but they still make me jump.

Eyy ! That would be a very rude generalisation, and you know that !

I found "Arachbutyrophobia" the most hilarious one .

The same two for me. Good that I live in an area where there are bees' and wasps' nests under every other roof .

But with me, needles is even worse. I don't mind seeing them, but I can't stand them going in for vaccination or blood sample. I don't faint or anything during the procedure, but I'm incredibly nervous for a week before it and sick the day after it.

Although I wouldn't call them phobias, but I worry a bit about becoming ill or being involved in an accident. However, no Dystychiphobia or Kosophobia for me (yet ).

Boy, must I sound insane .

That was an interesting list, thanks for posting, Poetess !

Arachnophobia, definitely. Although, I fear flies the most. I have been known to start screaming and run out of the room at high speed. But it's much better now. I can even calmly stand up, get my things and leave the room. And lock it. Before going to get someone to "kill these infernal things, please!", somewhat less calm, admittedly.

Wow, you sound like a couple of girls.

Only kidding. I worked with someone who got stung by a bee and didn't know he was allergic and nearly died. After that he was insane over bees. He would carry his antidote bag with him everywhere and was petrified of stepping out. He completely gave up gardening and I know he was going to some psychologist for it.
