I like Cat in the Hat, and all the big well-known titles, with the Sleep Book being my favorite in regards to the illustrations.

Nothing beats the bofa on the sofa. (There's a Wocket in My Pocket). This book was popular around my house when I was growing up and we had our own live-in Bofa on the Sofa, but the one from the book was much more likeable than the one we had. And look, we have an emoticon in an appropriate hat.

Thanks, Lacra! You ought to check out some of the stories that Dr. Seuss wrote. His name was Dr. Theodore Seuss Geisel.
and he wrote many loved children's stories as:
The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the Sneetches, and Fox in Socks. Some of these stories has great messages, such as Green Eggs and Ham taught children that they ought to try something before deciding that they didn't like it, and the Sneetches that they shouldn't judge one another based on superficial characteristics. They are definitely worth while stories.
