    The ABC Poem Tree

    Simple rules.

The poem starts with the first person...one syllable
Line two has two syllables AND has to start with the next letter from which the last line started...for example...

    All
    Better
    Can breathe now
    Don't let me fall
    Every feeling
    Flowing from my furl'd brow
    Going through my body now

Once you feel that the poem is finished, you can start again, but you still have to follow the 'alphabetic' rule. Each person only adds one line.

Starting the next poem with 'H'...

    How
    Les Miserables,
Volume 1, Fifth Book, Chapter 3
Remember this, my friends: there are no such things as bad plants or bad men. There are only bad cultivators.

"But do you really, seriously, Major Scobie," Dr. Sykes asked, "believe in hell?"
    "Oh, yes, I do."
    "In flames and torment?"
"Perhaps not quite that. They tell us it may be a permanent sense of loss."
"That sort of hell wouldn't worry me," Fellowes said.
"Perhaps you've never lost anything of importance," Scobie said.

this is hysterical. I got rocks in my head, otherwise I'd come up with something.

"But do you really, seriously, Major Scobie," Dr. Sykes asked, "believe in hell?"
    "Oh, yes, I do."
    "In flames and torment?"
"Perhaps not quite that. They tell us it may be a permanent sense of loss."
