    Constructivist literature?

    Hello,

I've been browsing the web for a good hour now, but I can't seem to find any clear information on Constructivist literature. However, there's a reasonable amount of information to be found about a certain Oberiu literary group, one that I had never heard of before, but which happens to be both Russian and post-Futurist, just like Constructivism in visual art and architecture.

Am I on the right track here, or does this have no relation to each other at all?

Also, should anyone have a link to a useful site concerning the topic, please do share.

    Thanks in advance.

Constructivism is more related to visual art than literature I believe.

I tend to agree with Jeremydav.
You might consider the writings of Constructivist artists and architects such as El Lassitsky, Naum Gabo - "Raelist Manifesto", Vladimir Tatlin.
There are many others predominantly Russian.

Ah, well that would explain why I couldn't find any information on it then, wouldn't it?

I will have a look at the writings of Constructivist artists, certainly, but I was hoping there were Constructivist poets and novelists, too. I guess the lack thereof is a bit of a disappointment, but hey, one can't change history.

Thank you very much for your time anyway.

Not so fast, there may still be some hope. I am certainly not an authority on the subject, I am merely passing on some vague recollections from an architectural point of view.

You might consider introducing yourself to "Stlukesguild", another member of this Forum.
St. Lukes is well versed in such matters as art and music.
