Unhappy heart of darkness, joseph conrad

Marlow plays a double roule both as Narrator and as Authorial Voice. Could you help me to find passages of the book where it is obvious?

    Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

In Heart of Darkness, Marlow shares many characteristics with his creator Joseph Conrad. He makes this evident through actions that Marlow takes which directly relate to actions that Conrad took in his own life. These adventures consisted of Conrad aiding the British Merchant Marine, which directly relates to Marlow's help with the Belgium's imperialistic conquest of the Congo area. Whether or not Conrad intended for this book to be a correlation of his own life we cannot be sure, however it does parallel with incidences in his life.
Marlow, like Conrad, had a sense of pride in his English heritage, which is shown on page 2 when Marlow says "It had known and served all of the men of whom the nation is proud, from Sir Francis Drake to Sir John Franklin..." This not only shows Marlow's pride for the explorers, Drake and Franklin, but also the pride for his English background that Conrad conveys through the character of Marlow.
Conrad also portrays his life in this book by using the character Kurtz, a fictionalized version of a man named Klein that Conrad was sent up the Congo by the Merchant Marine for business reasons.
It is easy to tell that Conrad is present in this novel just as much as the character Marlow. Conrad fictionalizes pieces of his life and creates an adventure for Marlow as he travels to meet Kurtz.
