    Just Snow

This is just my first paragraph i wrote after peoples overreactions in england about the snow. But im so self concious i wanted to know peoples opinions of it.

Were told to recapture the spirit of the blitz,
If we wish, to get through this chalk bombardment and want it to go.
But losing 43,000 lives would not be the fix.
After all it is just snow.

    Albion,
    Is that a real number?
    I hope not.

Not sure what you mean by "recapture the blitz". As for the subject it reminds me of the satirical piece Conan O'Brien did about Los Angeleans freaking out when it rained and acting as if it was the apocalypse.

    Albion,
Of course. On rereading, I understand
the number is in reference to WWII
    casualties. Duh!

there seems to be here a parallel with WWII, though I am not sure... but Albion, do continue to post...
