Can someone recommend a History play?

I've read none of them. I want a gripping dramatic one that isn't too complex.

    Henry V.

A war play, with the amazing St. Crispin's Day Soliloquy, and there is also a great Kenneth Branagh film (because Shakespeare is meant for watching as well as reading).

This is coming seven months too late maybe...

But I'd recommend for a one-off Richard III, great play, really the bridge between Shakespeare's tragedies and his histories...

For an extended read, Henry IV Part 1 and 2 and then Henry V.
