If I had looked at this first I'd have had a better understanding of the prevelant Short Story subject matter.
Interesting and gratifying that there are so very many youngsters involved in writing.

It's funny how time passes so quickly. Just seems like yesterday when I shifted from the 10-14 group to 15-19 one and just in a year I would have to jump across this one too.

If we're looking at active members who post regularly, I think the numbers probably favor the 30+ crowd.

Yep. The kids have the numbers but they are sporadic.

"This is our birthplace though, this is what we deserted long ago. This is where we used to live, on balls of dust and rock like this. This is our hometown from before we felt the itch of wanderlust, the sticks we inhabited before we ran away from home, the cradle where we were infected with the crazy breath of the place's vastness like a metal wind inside our love-struck heads; just stumbled on the scale of whats around and tripped out drunk on starlike possibilities."

My age holds no relevance to who I am and my place in the universe. The anniversary of my birth is no more significant than any other day of life, but how significant is life in accordance to the entire universe?

On Monday I'm 67 which still keeps me in the 65-69 poll bracket of goldern oldies(totalling 3). Wonder if I will make the goldern, goldern oldies? (70+ totalling 2)

Physically 56 in three weeks, but mentally, still 15. My youngest daugher gave me a badge which I still have - "I may be getting older, but I refuse to grow up!" Suits me!

Why not? We get all the fun...

In all seriousness, though, I can't wait to turn 20. I'm 18 and so technically an adult, but my parents don't take me seriously at all yet. Plus, my peers are a bunch of idiots.
