    O'Brien

    Is O'Brien against the Party? I've only read book one, and he really confuses me. Orwell has only touched on this, and I'm lost.

    In Book Three, it is revealed that Obrien has been manipulating a Big Brother hologram from behind a curtain, and Julia realises it was all a dream.
