ok so I got my new laptop. yay. right? WRONG! I cant get on myspace or facebook and it takes me like 15 tries to get on here. bu the main problem seems to be I dont have cookies enabled. so where do I find this at? Like I went thru the search thing on my computer and found the file, but it says acsess denied? I have an HP its the shiny black one with silver bubbles on it...that is reall all I know about it

go to control panel option which is one of the options that pops up when your curser is clicked on START. choose Internet Options from the multitude of things you can access from control panel window of icons. poke around until you see 'cookies' and other options you can activate. Si?
Also you can enable cookies from within the browser you use.
For Firefox:
Tools > Options > Privacy > Check 'Accept Cookies from sites' and 'Accept 3rd Party cookies'

Make sure you are set up as the administrator of your computer. If you don't have administrative permissions, then you will not be able to allow cookies from Vista.Originally Posted by stephofthenight
