What wonderful poems. And no one has voted yet. I'll have to think this over.

Like Virgil said, wonderful poems. It was a hard choice!
Some of us laugh
Some of us cry
Some of us smoke
Some of us lie
But it's all just the way
that we cope with our lives...
They are, indeed, all highly worthy. It seems almost wrong to pick just one out.
"I should only believe in a God that would know how to dance. And when I saw my devil, I found him serious, thorough, profound, solemn: he was the spirit of gravity- through him all things fall. Not by wrath, but by laughter, do we slay. Come, let us slay the spirit of gravity!" - Nietzsche
HummmmSix days left and only three votes. Support of these contests must come from readers or else they serve little purpose. These poets have poured their time and energy into creating these poems. The least we could do is vote for one of them!

Ok, I voted. Come on people. It's worth your time to read and vote. It won't take long.

With all the poets we have here, only five people have voted? Come on people. You're not going to hurt anyone's feelings if you read them and vote for the one you like best.

Wow. Not an easy decision at all!
Hey Sheh, love the Time Flowing Forever... Loved it, loved it, loved it... Thank you for sharing. At least you know which one I voted for.![]()
I have to say, it is a shame to choose between such fine poems. What a wonderful selection. It was so hard to pick only one. I am so impressed by these poets! I hope you master writers will reveal yourselves once the contest is over. You all deserve high praise for your work.
I voted, but it was so tough! Beautiful poems all.

Incredible poems all! This vote is not easy to decide upon. I think finally, after my second reading, I know which poem I will vote for; I feel it's the most complete and coherent. I have no idea (even guessing) who wrote any of these fine poems.

Chapter 7, The Little Prince ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Wow, that is a hard choice. Thanks for the heads up Virgil on this contest. I gave my vote!
No matter what lies beyond the horizon, you can always find a guiding light.
two of the poems I really really liked,
too bad I had to choose one of them :S
couldn't we just give points, from 1-5 to 5 songs, 5 for the one we liked best, 4 the second best and so on, then we would summarize the points
It's hard to choose just one!
Touched by Genius. Cursed by Madness. Blinded by Love.
Jeez, this was tough. I Hate Voting!
