Today is facing all of us like a mirror

    Time seems like an illusion,
as we are all here for a moment,
and everything we see inside the dreams
vanishes with the morning light, like many faces
to whom we know, disappear as if they were all seen
within those vanished dreams, and we are forever running
after the unborn tomorrows, seeking answers to the questions,
which bemuse us everyday, yet we try to forget why we are all here.
But, the edge is always getting nearer, yet we move on, singing a song,
as everything is here just for a moment, and the moments are all we can relish.
Today is facing all of us like a mirror, so we dare to face it, no matter what it reflects.

It would be better if we did dare to face it...very thought-provoking dibyendra.

The problem is I feel like I'm looking into a mirror with a mirror behind me, stretching to infinity...

Nice piece, Dibby. Loved the stair-step arrangement. Visual poetry is hard to do, but you did it brilliantly!
    Some of us laugh
    Some of us cry
    Some of us smoke
    Some of us lie
But it's all just the way
that we cope with our lives...

Apart from the thoughtful content, I'm impressed with how you managed this form. There was something mesmerizing about how each line grew a measurable length over the preceding one.
