I started looking for a literary agent for a novel that has elements of a thriller, science fiction, crime, and a few other sub-genres. I have made a list of agents who might be possible. Does anyone know of any easy ways to find a suitable agent?

Get a copy of Writers & Artists Yearbook which has a list of agents and what they will accept and how to approach them. The Society of Authors website gives details as well. If you have any publishing credits list them in your submission letter.
Good luck
Thanks, I looked at several of the annuals, and I found some online resources that are as good. It turns out that there is a searchable database where one can find agents by specialty, http://www.agentquery.com/ . I joined Absolute Write forums, which have people who are serious about writing.
