inability to edit really old posts

Hey, guys, I think maybe I'm just being incompetent here, but I'd like to edit some old posts, specifically some poems i've posted in my Oh Noetry thread (see link in my signature)

I can't seem to do this. Is there a way a thread can be enabled to allow old edits?

Unfortunately, the new forum settings do not let us edit old posts but you can always use the quote function to re-post your edited poems?
