I don't really know how to vote because we had both in the house. I loved lego (especially the huge pieces) to build things, but Playmobil was pretty good. The two sets that I remember vividly are the Cowboy and Indian set and the Knights. I LOVED their wine goblets. I always liked that the "wine" inside the goblets were different colors based on what they were drinking. Do they even have those in the sets anymore?

They were Little People. Well, these are the Little People before how they look now.

Seriously, you had me literally clapping at the site of this!!! I had the treehouse!!! I thought about that after I posted but then I just decided to leave it out rather than edit it.

Wasn't there a way that they could "climb" the tree? Like an elevator? That is something that is a blur to me. I don't know if I am getting that confused with something else that we had here (which might be the FP Sesame Street playset).

    Yes...I had that too...
Look at the little door with the circle in it. The door is the same shape as the opening in the upper part. I played with this toy for hours and hours.

But the little blue fireman did not go to this set. The little girl did.

I had none of those... or maybe all of them: My Lego era was ahead of all those sets. We had only the basic blocks back then, and we built just about everything we could think of. I consider the basic Lego block to be the ultimate toy.
