I had people singing these three songs to me today, at the corridor in college , can't get more embarrassingly than that, esp. (yallan hallan balan) and (kan yom iswid)

Happy Birthday,Nossa! Glad you had a good day!
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

    Happy Birthday!

    An interview with Nossa:

Why are we doing this interview thing?
Well, it's either this or studying
No seriously, it's fun! and I haven't been around much, so I feel I owe you guys this

Are you sure you want to do this?
Yup, I'm ready to sign a release if you want

    Got milk?
Erm...I think we have some in the fridge lol

If you had a personal theme song what would it be?

    Hello by Christina Aguilera maybe

    Are you male or female?
    Female and proud

What makes you keep coming back?
To the forum? Well, besides boredom..lol..j/k. I love the people here. And this is by far the best literature site/forum I've ever come across. I learned so much from the place and the people, so I always some back for more

Are you happy with the way things are here?
    Pretty much yeah

    Which countries have you visited?
    France, Italy and Czech

If you could live somewhere different, where would it be and why?
Either London, New York or Dublin. London cuz I've always liked the idea of living in England, don't know why really since I've never been there before..lol. New York, cuz I love You've Got Mail, and there's someone living there whom I'd love to meet someday As for Dublin, I really like Irish people, so it'd be a good chance to actually meet some of them in real life

    Do you have any pets?
    I wish...

    What makes you happy?
    Pizza..

Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God?
Yup, or at least I'd like to think I am.

Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?
Though I look NOTHING like her, I'd love Keria Knightly to play me (I just like her as an actress )

Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?
A bit cliche, but I'd love to be a bird

What were your favorite things to do the past? What about now?
I've always liked reading, it's a bit different now concerning the 'kind' of reading, but this has always been my fav thing to do. Writing and taking pictures with people has been added in recent years

What makes you feel great about yourself?
Generally the way people see me makes me feel pretty good about myself. When I'm creative I feel pretty good about myself too.

How did you meet your significant other?
    Hopefully it'll be in a park...lol

    Who inspires you most?
    People around me

What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)
I don't know, I think writing is something I'd like to think I'm good at. Though when it comes to social skills, people tend to tell me that I know how to make people feel comfortable around me, I make them smile (hence the smilie that's been popping up in all the questions lol)

What is the one thing you must do before you die?
Setting religious things aside, I'd love to have a bookcase full of first edition books...oh and get published if possible too lol

If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
    Probably novel...not sure though.

What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?
Not pursuing my university/writing career. I'll keep trying till people actually start slamming doors in my face

What method do you cherish above all others, as means to improving your life?
Spirituality...in all its forms, though for me it's always connected with my relationship with God.

What is your role in an emergency situation: the 911 dialer, the person who runs to the scene to help, the video recorder, or the person too overcome by shock to do anything?
The person who runs to the scene to help.

What song is in your head at the moment?
    Satellite by Backstreet Boys.

Which book are you reading at the moment?
The Portrait of A Lady by Henry James

The last book you finished reading?
    Lucky Jim by Kingsley Amis

    What is your favourite quote?
Do you have time? lol I think for now I'll just settle for Elizabeth Barrett Browning's 'God's gifts put man's best dreams to shame'.

    Favorite food?/ Comfort food?
Pizza and anything with cheese on it lol

What time of day do you most often find yourself on the LitNet?
When I'm back from college, so that'd be from 6pm and on

What are you wearing at the moment?
    PJs

    Favorite poem?
Shakespeare's "Not Marble, nor the Gilded Monuments" and Yeats' "No Second Troy"

First novel you remember reading on your own?
Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

What era do you find most of the books you read are from?
I try as much as I can to read everything. Lately I've reading more modern than classics, but I like reading everything.

Again, do you have time? Well, off the top of my head, I love Top Gear, House, According to Jim, The Simpsons, ER, Brothers and Sisters, Numbers...oh and Gilmore Girls.

Which LitNet members would you like to meet in person if you could?
LOL That's a nice question. There are TONS of people I'd love to meet.

    Chicken and noodles

Last words you said out loud?
    GIVE ME THE PHONE!!

    Last person you hugged/kissed?
    My mother

What do you do (for a living) to be able to keep your LitNet addiction going? And are you happy with your chosen profession?
I'm a student, and I'm quite happy so far.

What question would you like to ask yourself?
'What the hell were you thinking?' has to be the catchy phrase of my life

What would you like to be if you could change your profession?
Since I don't have a 'profession' so far, I'll just stick to being a student.

    Least favorite book/song/movie?
Book: A Farewell to Arms (so far)
Song: Any song by Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and people of that sort.
    Movie: Saw movies.

The most generous thing you have done?
Me and three of my friends threw our staff members a farewell party last thursday where all the class was attending and all...it was amazing!! We had so much fun

What was your very favorite moment in your life so far?
I think last thursday was pretty awesome, so that's the one taking the lead now.

    What scares you?
    Illness.

What is your most outstanding feature?
Everyone says my eyes and my smile...some people like my laugh, say it's contagious...lol

If you could change one thing about the way you look, what would that be?
Nothing really, I'd just work out some more, and get more in shape, but other than that I'm fine.

The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.

What is your favorite book cover?
    The Name of the Rose

What would your biography be titled?
The very boring (and kinda expected) life and trials of a hopeless student.

What should you be doing at the moment instead of answering these questions?
    Studying

Why the airplane window shields need to be lifted up during take off and landing?
They have to? I don't know, I always sit in an aisle seat..lol

    Wonderful Superman or depressing Batman?
Neither...though I like Batman's car, so I'd take that if available

The most embarrassing moment in your life?
Hitting someone on the head cuz I thought he was my brother and he turned out to be a complete stranger

Which literary character (s) have you been told to resemble the most?
None so far, though I'd love to be Elizabeth Bennet.

List some of the things that annoy you immensely.
    Smoking, people shouting, peopl

Anything that you want to forget but you never can?
That I have college early in the morning

Tell us about some amusing translation mistake you have heard or made yourself.
Translating Heels as feet I think..that was in last term's translation exam, and it was kinda stupid than funny, cuz I kept trying to remember what heels in Arabic was...so I wrote it feet lol

If you had to lose one of your senses, which would you choose and why?
Taste..lol...I can't lose my eyes cuz then I won't be able to read, I can't lose my ears cuz then I won't listen to music...tasting seems like a good choice..lol

What’s the first thing you’ll do in an embarrassing situation?
Be the first to laugh about it

Still in pursuit, but not complaining too much about present really.

    The feeling of self-fulfillment

    What makes you laugh?
    My friends.

What was the happiest period of your life and why?
So far it's college...met a lot of great people online and offline during it...read lots of amazing books...

Do those animated smilies ever get tired? Think of them day after day, dancing or crashing computers or laughing or crying till the end of time...
I'd love to know who came up with this question!!! But yeah, you're right, esp. this smilie () lol

One final word of wisdom for LitNet users?
    You're amazing, keep it up!!
