Another person looking for a satisfying book

I am looking for a book.
I enjoy satire, and books that flow well. By that I mean a book that is not overly dense, but still has meaning.
I loved Sherman Alexie's "Flight" because it had profound meaning, but he throws in some shockingly funny lines every now and then, and I did not have to analyze each and every sentence.
