What is the biggest difference between Hemingway and Steinbeck in Literary style?
I don't have much to say about this altough I have made a very comprehensive reading of these two authors for they are far beyond me in their greatness.
All I could say in simplest terms:
*Hemingway: His literary genius nourished on the world outside the boundaries of America. He wrote for the citizen of the world.
*Steinbeck: Nourished on the sources of his own land. He wrote mainly for the people of America.
Their style:
Hemingway: More condenced and less local.
Steinbeck: More fine local touches/provincialism and less condenced.
I would be appreciated to hear your say on this issue.
