    And most posts are doubled.

My German forum has a different interpretation of privacy:

You still can read complete posts without being logged in, but the headings: "Notifications-My Profile-Settings-Log out" are hidden from your eyes now. Well, besides being a good privacy solution it is also an excellent exercise for ones memory, specially if it is not a young one, because you have to remember what each rectangle means.

Editing is a bit hit and miss as well.

I'm sure the software bugs will be attended to in time as "they" sort things out... after all, they're prolly losing revenue.

    PHEW!

I totally wondered why I was basically locked out of LitNet... Frustrating, but I am glad I wasn't the only one!

Well, it seems that by now things have been mended and the active Litneters are back to the forum.

Unfortunately the edit function is now kaput.

A trick for editing: if the save button takes three hours to save edited content, copy the content you are saving and take a look at "What is new". Probably youŽll find that the post has already been saved.

Length of time to save the content is not the issue. I simply get a window with no text to edit. But I can get around it by waiting for this to happen, then hitting edit a second or even third time.

ItŽs a bit of a roundabout, but one has to cheat the mechanism. I tested the method yesterday. You write your text. If you notice there is something to edit, copy the whole unedited text. When you get the empty window, paste your copied text in it and only then edit it. If it takes ages to save copy the edited text again so not to lose it and have a look at the "What is new" page. The edited text should appear there.
