    If you like to know...

    ...Just ask.

Ok, inspired by the post in the "5 People you want to know"...

How about asking any of the members here question about their selves. I think this can make us know more about members in our forum. The questions can be anything, but of course keep them civil and decent enough for everyone to read ... And of course, though you can ask, it's the person's right to answer or to not answer your Qs.

    Ok, let me start

To AP: What's the meaning of Atiguhya Padma? Are they words from other language? (sounds Hindi)? Are there any meanings?

To Asha: How old are you when you write your first poem?

I think that's all for now

To Logos: Why don't you post anymore?

Stan, I don't really have any role model whom I follow, but I admire Thom Yorke and what he does/says/sings...

To Logos too: are you female or male?

To Stan: Are you also very talkative in your everyday life?

to Sub T: have you ever been in a band? (wonders because of your love of music)

to AP: have you traveled a lot? as in, outside of the U.K.?

to Taliesin: do you refer to yourselves as "we" outside of the forum? if so, in what sort of company - casual or close friends only?

    B, i was six.

To Mono, what made you desire to be a nurse?

Besides still having a minor/double-major in English literature and creative writing, I have multiple reasons. I love applied science, especially biology and organic chemistry, and I have always wanted to help the less fortunately healthy with that passion; I considered a paramedic - no, too hectic being trapped in an ambulance; I considered a doctor - no, the hours seemed odd, and they never get as much patient contact; then, a nurse, yes!
I found myself strictly as a literature/creative writing major early in college, and probably would have continued, had I not gained acceptance from my nursing program. Besides that luck, however, I enjoy contributing to the health of communities, big or small, and have received good, inspirational experiences with other nurses - such as, when being born, my mother's labor proceeded so quickly that the doctor could not arrive in time, and only the nurse helped.

To Stanislaw: I have always wondered, how old/young are you? And where has Wladyslaw disappeared?

To imthefoolonthehill: what made you first have a keen interest in mathematics?

To Admin: you have mentioned managing other websites - which other sites, just out of curiosity?

My Mom was a nurse and then became a writer. Good combo.

i'm kind of wondering - unbelievably nosy, i know - if mono and Psyche have any plans to marry one day?

mono, i've wondered what those other sites are too!

B, the poem was called "In the Evening" - i wish my mom had kept it - i gave it to her. it was on a pink 3x5 slip of paper - from the multi-colored pads they have for kids, and i wrote about sunset, a hungry baby bunny and its mommy...that's all i know. i never even thought about it until a few years ago.
we lived in Tuolumne, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas, and it was beautiful - nature at its best - hills and ponderosa pines all around, very idyllic. 4 seasons, even - a rarity in california. of course i was a frightful child - poor mama earth! and very scared of kissing bugs. *stops rambling.

Doesn't anybody want to ask me a question?

Baddad: What do you do for a living?

SubT: Are you in school? or do you work?

fool: How did you get your screen name? and do you live on a hill?

Stan: where do you get the cool avatars? and do you ever go to scifi conventions?

kilted: Have you decided what to do about school?

I know what I am going to do now. I will have to become a working drone for the next 2 years to save up enough money (have a job lined up to start in September doing air quality testing) and then I am going to go to Lakehead University to take the final 2yrs of their Chemical Engineering program.

We two ask ourselves the same question, but for now we consider ourselves "engaged-to-be-engaged," if that makes sense. For now, however, I think we both feel quite content with our present "label."

Ironically, we did not know this until about a month ago, that Psyche and I attended the same elementary school, but at different times (I moved out of the area before she moved in from California) at Eagle Creek Elementary School; I later attended Mabel Rush Elementary, then Springbrook Middle School, transferring later to Chehalem Middle School (I moved a lot).

    Now for more questions:
papayahed: what do you do for a living, and does this contribute to your great sage-like knowledge of 80s rock?
shortsweetp: what makes you want to move back to Oregon?
amuse: do have any other passions in your life, but what you have expressed for poetry, applied science, and math (such a diverse selection)?
