Has anybody noticed how Shelley seems to be the pre-Marx poet held in the most admiration by leftists? Certainly among the Romantics. Aside from Blake, none of the others seem to be mentioned at all by the Left

Yeah man, Shelley has the first great like pre-marx call for radical leftist freedom things going on. My friend said he was an anarchist but that idea didn't spread until later. He surely is loved among the left wing as a romantic writer.
