    Wow.

Traverse Creek Falls... no way near as majestic as Iguazu Falls: http://peachyhiker.blogspot.com/2010...-creek-ca.html ... down my street a mile or two and right turn walk onto the brush trail for a good bit. I've never been, turned back a few times, but the kids go down there a lot. Someone usually gets a helicopter ride out due to carelessness every year. Sometimes bears and big cats are around. Websites say the falls are in Georgetown or Placerville but I'm in Garden Valley, go figger. https://www.google.com/search?client...UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

So you have falls almost around the corner! I never saw the Iguaçú Falls, they are down south, but there are plenty of smaller falls in my state. When they have the form of a big sheet of water the name usually is "Bridesveil".
