well maybe you could request some. It's the first time i found some Agatha Christie books online- here- unfortunately there are only 2 books. but at least i've never read either of them until i got here

I haven't seen them online. I got mine cheap from used book stores, or on loan from other literate people and/or the local library.

I suggest you find your phone book, call your local public library, and ask them to reserve something for you. If you need it for homework, be sure to mention it and you'll get all kinds of cooperation. Then you will have to drag yourself out to the library to pick up the books you want. But I have yet to see a public library without several of the Dame's books.

Do you know which books include the redoubtable Hercule P? The library can help with that, too.

If you need books you can keep, mark up, etc, but are short on funds, then hie thee to the used bookstore, and/or beg everyone you know to donate to your worthy cause. For such a cause, I might even donate a volume from my hoard!
