Yes, it is that time of the year again! Shopping, gift-exchaning, over-eating and... getting older!

Take a deep breath and tell us how old you will be in 2009!

Quit bawling you young whippersnapper At least Sher waited for our birthdays of last year to pass before posting the poll this time

This will be my first appearance in this age bracket: 50... I'll be 50 this year. Groan....

It's fun to whine. Claes you voted in the wrong catagory if you're going to be fifty this year.

Shhh...Virg., let Claes be in subconscious denial if he wants to.

No complaints from this end about turning 27 come February. I think it sounds like a nice age.

I know... And I dated a paper with 2008 yesterday. I still need to adjust a bit to the current state of affairs. Or is it denial? Nah....

Well dad... hahaha!!! I just had to say that
Me myself am 13 years old now, but I will be 14 this summer! One year less to wait for driving license

I really like this thread, it is great.
And yes, dad I did say "driving licence"
By the way dad, you are a good dad so far.

I will be turning 27. A further step towards the expectation of respectability, and probably will be the year I finally learn that my body takes longer to recover from knocks than when I was in my teens. However, still younger than the old fogies of our little world (eg Virg, Claes, Scher etc)

I'll be turning 23 this year. Still young, but it feels too old. I wish I was 10 again. Hey that rhymes

    Yeah I resemble that remark.

Hey 23 and 27 are great ages to be.

Whoa, did I see correctly? Scher turns 40 this year?

I second that! A sweeter seventeen for me.

Congrats to Scher and Claes for approaching some momentous _0's! After seeing the movie, I read the short story The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by Scott Fitzgerald and have been re-examining my views of older age. Life really seems too short to worry about your years...in some ways,it undermines the cause for many worries. I hope both of you party down!
I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.
