I'm writing an essay on Dr. Jekyll and am writing a lttle about his relation to hyde. So if mr. Hyde is the evil of Jekyll, in concentrated form, then he IS Jekyll. i looked at sparknotes to see if there is anything i missed, and it said that jekyll was telling hyde what to do, and that all the things that hyde did were jekyll's desires that he would be filled with guilt if he did them himself. so, to my question: Why did jekyll want to kill Sir. Danvers Carew? was this another piece of information that i missed, or was it not covered in the story?
not sure if that all made sense but if anyone gets it, could you help please?
