    A Theological Cat Joke

A scientist divised a machine which would read the minds of animals and translate their thoughts into English.

As an experiment, they placed the device, first on a dog as he was being fed.

The dog was thinking, "This person brings me nice food and water everyday, surely this must be God."

Then they put the device on a cat's head as it was feeding.

The cat was thinking, "This person brings me nice food and water everyday, surely I must be God."

I've liked dogs because they seem to have emotion like love, and I'm allergic to cats, hence I like dogs.

*wonders if this will turn into a dog vs cat thread*

I like cats. They are small and calm enough to cuddle with.

I like taking naps with my cat and watching movies...

the cat likes action movies, but doesn't like it when someone cries or a dog barks.

all my life I've always had best, I choose not to choose becuase to me the most comforting thing is laying on the couch on sunday (or saturday depending on which country your in second day of weekend) curled up with a book, a dog resting his head at the bend of your knees, a cat in the curve of your stomach and another cat, at your head, back or above on the back of the couch, watching the world as if protecting you... that to me is the best life has to offer... (so far) its not as great with only the dog, or only the cat.

Like Jester, I love having both cats and dogs together also, especially if they all get along with each other. Owning more cats in my life (or being owned by them), however, I have always found cats more agreeable and easy to raise.

Dog person here. I'm allergic to cats, last time I went to my aunts house (who owns a cat) I could feel the telltale signs of a reaction and by the time I got home I had hives all over my chest and arms. I went to the doctor and all he could say was "boy, your allergic to something huh?"

Cats are infinitely human, whereas dogs are impossibly good and loyal.

    I like cats.

And the joke is so very true...my kitty thinks the whole world revolves around her.

Which, you know, it does, in some extent. Her world, anyhow.

how are cats human? i find them infinitely better, meself...

    my brother's vet-
let me rephrase that , we are not cats.
my brother's cat's veterinarian said that he needed to train m. or m. would train him. teehee.
    m. has fortunately let himself be persuaded away from the head of the bed. i think it's very nice that's he's sharing his place.
    shh!!!
the air and water have been here a long time, and they are telling stories.

I like cats. I like dogs. I like horses. I like beef. I like pork. I like chicken. I like fish.

I am alergic to none of these. I like my meat medium rare.
