I just finished reading the novel Day, and was very impressed. Is anyone familiar with her other work, any recommendations?

Day is I think unique as a war novel. I'm not even sure I'd call it a war novel. Some of the most surprising and moving and significant things that happen to Archie Day have little to do with him being a tail gunner on an RAF bomber. I find it amazing that a female author can write from such a distinctively male viewpoint; I also find it amazing that she can capture the feel of the times so.

War novels tend to be of two kinds: the guts and glory type, and its ironic opposite. I prefer the latter, but it is often fully as much genre fiction than the former. Day fits neither mold.
