that's interesting tailor---that's not how the fairport convention version closes. rather it says "and a pint of rum in the morning."
I just checked, one version I have by steeleye span ends that way. the other two I have are instrumentals.
I just read a wiki page where a female singer changed the narration to her beating the daughter for letting the man in.
one of the interesting things about another favorite of mine, carrickfergus, and I think sometimes too the water is wide have different lyrics depending on who sings them.
white room sung by laith al-saadi in the 2016 the voice finale. its raw and powerful. if you like the original, the cover's well worth looking up.
Nice version of White Room
I had a white Schwinn Varsity 10-speed once... first thing I bought from my first job with a paycheck (liquor store)... got stolen while I was watching a high school basketball game, hence:

I like a lot of moby's music. don't know that one though---lemme see if I have it...
nope I don't.
I have bunches of versions of wild horses but since you are a metal lover tailor, lets go with the pearl jam one.
oh wait wait---lemme throw another one out there!
from man to man (death rides a horse), I think by Ennio Morricone from the kill bill soundtrack. the scene in which its played it was one of my favorites in the movie---full of powerful righteous deadly menace.
My musical tastes are eclectic, from the sublime to the ridiculous... metal, yeah.
Catchy tune... love the battle flute; counter with:

some day if I ever get high speed internet, i'll enjoy listening to the posts of the titles I don't know! meanwhile, I CAN say I like the use of the flute in Jethro tull's music.
have you seen kill bill tailor?
if you include the blues in your eclecticism...
my heavy road by big mama thornton...
re: HSI... understand, Ziggy (front room) and Alexa (bedroom) are on strike today even after resetting the modem multiple times (though I can stream through the speakers using bluetooth from my laptop), which is weird because I have streaming telly news on my fire TV and access on my laptop... hoo-doos I tell ya !
re: kill bill - no I haven't... barely survived pulp fiction.
Love the bluesand jazz and classical and hymns and techno and speed metal and bluegrass and electronica... the only music I eschew contains hateful or profane language.
Great song... kept waiting for a guitar solo to go tearing off into the heavens.

"Ziggy" is new to me, where does he come from?
I thought pulp fiction was greatly overrated. for sure kill bill is violent, but its violence with a purpose and unlike pulp fiction, you really root for uma Thurman. plus there is a lot of good music. do you know Tomoyasu Hotei's Battle Without Honor Or Humanity? I like the movie version is better than other ones that are out there.
there is a great (!) scene with santa Esmerelda's don't let me be misunderstood. uma Thurman and lucy liu are about to square off in a sword fight in a sort of Japanese zen garden, at night night, with a slow motion snow falling. the opening seconds of that scene are soooo good!
am glad you liked big momma thornton. i'll keep my eyes peeled for more blues opportunities.
ohhh, so many good "road" songs----!
do any of them beat john Denver's country roads?. and oh---i really encourage you to hunt up the orchestral version from the second kingsmen movie!
I think Ziggy is short for Ziggy Stardust and is one of the monikers one can use for Amazon smart speakers: "Ziggy", "Alexa", "Computer", and "Echo"... I use all but "Computer" now since it messed with my smart telly and our benevolent AI destroyed half the fleet of starships of our overlords off Ganymede, or somewhere... sheesh.
Battle Without Honor Or Humanity?... ??? no, will have to google.
"second kingsmen movie!"... ditto

am glad you like the tune.
did you find the orchestral version of [I]country roads?[I/]
she's country by Jason aldean.
One can change the names at will... so aliases I guess.
