    Eight-Word Poems

Inspired by Prince Myshkin's brilliant eight-word poem....

    Birds in adjacent cages
    pondering
    each other's dreams

....shall we see what else we can come up with?

    I'll start....

    two broken cuckoo clocks
    measuring out
    irregular time

    Who's next?

(I've been away for awhile.... I hope this hasn't already been done.)

    We murmur lies,

    Wednesday waiting

    make it good
I'm in love with The Vinegar Man and Mr. Tanner, but be careful, it could just as easily be you.

    more witty poems.

Good to have you back, Cdn.

    Hi, Jerry.
O schaurig ists übers Moor zu gehn,
    wenn es wimmelt vom Heiderauche,
sich wie Phantome die Dünste drehn
und die Ranke häkelt am Strauche.

    I've sunk into
    the shadows.
    What is light?

    and danced with daisies in dazed delight;
    sunny skies pervade my dreams
and light the dark of earthly scenes..."

    Take one leaf,
    and now,
    add a tree.
