The connection between "The Ransom of Red Chief" and O. Henry's life
Can anyone help me identify a connection between O. Henry's short story "The Ransom of Red Chief" and The life of O. Henry?
Like something in his life that might have led to him writing the story.
I can't find anything and I need to come up with something by tomorrow (4-27-08).

Really it is exciting to read the connection therein is between his life and his stories.
In fact greater parts of the story a writer carves out spring from the life he lives.
