    The Great Gatsby

    Can somebody help me with " Why is Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby considered to be a classic?" thanx!

    Defining the American Dream

    This novel does many things. In my opinion, one of the most important was addressing the conflict between new money and old money. It sets up class conflict inside of the American Dream while also defining the dream for generations of readers.
