    Hear Me Out!

    I need to talk,
    You need to listen,
    You cannot do this,
    Hear me out!

    My heart can't stop it,
    My mind won't let go,
    My soul wants you hear,
    Please hear me out!

I am calling to your reason,
I am begging for your heart,
I am now lost without you,
    Please just hear me out!

    Yet you shut that door,
    You cut me out,
    You won't listen,
    All I wanted...

Was for you to hear me out...

The most important part of poetry is rhyme!' says the last. 'No!" Says the teacher, ' The most important part of poetry is the meaning, no structure, nor sound nor rhyme alone can define poetry, combine them all and you get meaning.'

    To Love Someone.

(This is a Prose Poem I wrote for the one I loved... I hope that this will keep you who reads this from doing what I had done...)

The girl you love... She's always right there in front of you, teasing you, testing you and always pretending like you don't even exist. She stands there with her eyes shining bright but her lips never meant for you. You try your hardest just to see her, be there for her and save the day...
In the end, she goes for someone else. You let it slide, once, twice, three times before finally you just give up. You give up because every time you are there for her, she shuns you and when you leave her alone its her eyes filled with tears.
For you, that i a defining moment, she's there in your arms and loving you, holding you and begging for your help. You are her knight and she is a princess. That is, until she's done with you. Then she leaves, her eyes clean of tears and her lips not for you. Finally, you give up...
The day you give up, she calls, you can hear the tears on the edge of her voice. She's begging for help, she needs your shoulder one more time. She wants your heart... Yet you just can't give it to her, not on a silver platter.
You love her, you really do. Yet when she uses you, you feel as if you are a tool. Not anymore, no, you tell her your heart isn't hers anymore. Then you hang up and the tears aren't there anymore. Your heart is bone dry of love. That is until the next morning.
The next morning you wake up, you stare at the ceiling and wonder how she held up. Then you find out, you call her house or someone calls you. You hear what they're saying, but it cannot be real. She was just on the phone a few hours ago. She was warm, with tears and a heartbeat... Now she's...
If you love someone, even if they don't show this love to you, you have to bare with it. You are their legs, you are their support. They rely on you till the very end. When you let go of them, they fall... If you love someone, never give up on them. If your heart is broken because they don't even so much as look at you, still leave your phone on just in case. For even if it counts for something, the one you love will still be...
    Breathing...
    Crying...
    Laughing...
    Dreaming...
    Alive...

If you love someone, never give up on them... Even if they aren't returning the favor...

    My Valentine...

    Dreams of you,
    My eyes filled with tears...
Oh how I long to touch you.

    I feel you,
    My heart skips a beat...
Oh how I wish it were real.

    My Valentine...

    I hear you,
    Your breaths on my ears...
Oh how I wish to fathom it.

    I taste you,
    Your lips upon my own...
Oh how I wish for that kiss.

    My Valentine...

Tuninks, your use of repetition in the first poem worked for me. I liked the way that the poem read ... like a plea.

BUT: my favorite out of these three was My Valentine. What a sweet poem, expressing longing so beautifully. Yup, I liked it a lot!
