    Three People Haiku

Not another haiku thread you say? Oh well! Work with it!

    To play this game:

Person ONE creates a five syllable Line-1
Person TWO creates a seven syllable Line-2
Person THREE creates a five syllable Line-3

No one has to repeat a line from any other haiku, each one stands on its own.

So, guess I'll commence (since I thought it up, though B-Mental helped me with the name of the thread)

    On a wind swept shore
Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty
    ~Albert Einstein

    On a windswept shore
    landless logs there did accrue

Aah B, I think it's me messing things up (this happens in haiku all the time!). I think I've got it - I'll finish yours:

    Okay...here's my five:

    when I first saw you
I'm in love with The Vinegar Man and Mr. Tanner, but be careful, it could just as easily be you.

    leaning against an oak tree
    I saw tomorrow

I agree, btw, with B-Mental in that if two posters simultaneously make their contribution to the haiku -- then perhaps (to avoid hurt feelings, etc.), the first poster is the one that the next guy follows....

    does that make sense?

Thanks all, for jumping in! Next person gets to start a whole new haiku...
