I am losing my mind trying to find this poem by e.e. cummings - I only remember faint ideas/snippets/etc of it and none of it is getting me anywhere in Google.
Here's what I remember:
- it has the word elephant in it
- it might be talking about the elephant's ear or some part of the elephant
- love is a main theme
- in classic e.e. cummings style he uses parenthesis in it - inside the parenthesis he makes some kind of comment about how he doesn't have the words to describe how he feels or what he's thinking: ie: (I don't have the words)
I know it's all vague and not very descriptive at all but I'm really, really hoping someone clues into my insanity - I've seriously spent the last 3 hours trying to find this poem and I'm ready to crack.
