Thanks for these interesting references to Kingston Harbour. I didn´t know it was that important for Joyce.

Dónall Dempsey; Time Past Is Time to Come... Interesting poem. Liked specially the "introduction".

Love this poem; it touches me on a few levels. 1) My cousin, the actor, ran a theatre in Anchorage, Alaska called Cyrano's with his wife for years... I believe it's closed now. 2) Our local theatre in Coloma (California Gold Discovery site town) has had many from our church act and serve in many capacities. Unfortunately I have never attended either, but will in the future attend our local theatre So sad that the poem's theatre was lost

re: Wow! I used to participate in a theater group when I still was at the university. We presented a play at the end of each year and in the graduation year it was a collection of poems. That is something you could undertake to with your poetry group, if you don´t have such a group already. All you need is a room to hold your audience and a microphone for a larger audience.

    Enjoyed the Blake Auden poem!

re: Oh my! Well, acting often seems to me a contest between shyness and exibitionism. But, I think declaiming a poem is different. One doesn´t have to act.

Thanks for the "analysis" of "Babys Way" Shouldn´t the title in English be: "Babys Ways"?

re: Baby's Way - I believe it is (personal) singular possessive.

Interesting poem alluding to Psalms 2:4.

Hope that the cold has receded. California was in the international news again, yesterday.

We had maybe 0.20 m of snow here, no Snowmaggedon for us, with a bit more snow expected. We made an announcement for 4-wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicles recommended for church (a bit higher elevation) and cancelled meetings other than Sacrament meeting... got some snow shoveling in.

Lovely poem by Emily Found an interesting help in an unexpected place re: "Numidian": https://edl.byu.edu/lexicon/term/555548
