    Fill-in Haiku

This is a new challenge. The first person will give the first line and the last line of a haiku poem. The next person will need to fill in the middle line. The challenge is to transition the first and last line.

    For those unfamiliar with Haiku
    First line: 5 syllables
    Second line: 7 syllables
    Third line: 5 syllables

    Challenge:
    The new moon hidden

    Awaits the full moon

    Completion:
    The new moon hidden
    Werewolf without lunar fill
    Awaits the full moon

    The next challenge:
    The little inch worm

    leaves across the tree
    Les Miserables,
Volume 1, Fifth Book, Chapter 3
Remember this, my friends: there are no such things as bad plants or bad men. There are only bad cultivators.

This looks like a toughie but I'll give it a shot....

    the little inch worm
    of the apple's core adorns
    leaves across the tree

"But do you really, seriously, Major Scobie," Dr. Sykes asked, "believe in hell?"
    "Oh, yes, I do."
    "In flames and torment?"
"Perhaps not quite that. They tell us it may be a permanent sense of loss."
"That sort of hell wouldn't worry me," Fellowes said.
"Perhaps you've never lost anything of importance," Scobie said.
