    Breakfast at Tiffany's- novel or short story?

    And don't say 'novella'- that just means 'short novel' to me...

    Its neither a novel or a short story, it's a novella. Whats wrong with saying novella, the term was created for a reason.

    Well, it is a novella... but if you really need it to be one or the other, it looks like "novel" would be the best classification for it.
