A fog where a brain used to be
wasting in the sludgeland called youth
well trained by the father
who owes nothing
slivers of truth
lay near

Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty
~Albert Einstein
Sleepkess nights
Stole my dreams
All i can see is real
No illusions no fantasies
Nothing to solace the heart
Nothing but roof and walls
Like someone trapped alive
In a grave
with eyes open.

When asked how World War III would be fought, Einstein replied that he didn't know. But he knew how World War IV would be fought: With sticks and stones.

there are worse things
than being alone
immersed in a susurrus
solitude is not found

Nice poem ! Yes, it's all cyclic in nature... I've experienced more than once.

bliss - becoming less and less
unrealized dreams
reality settles in
worldliness gets in the way

I so love my sleep
without so lost and withered
it's such a deep thing
and a short catnap as well
when she cries I feel helpless

After a sleepless night
Is

One wonders.
My poem offering later today at our poetry workshop: (Adult Nursery Rhyme)
If All The World Were Poets
If all the world were poets,
And ink sold by the gallon,
If all the stars were accessible,
Where would we hang our hats ?
If all the world were Legos,
All colors of the rainbow,
If we played as children play,
Would there be any homeless ?

If the world was more full:
of colors
of laughter
of games and parties.
If children learnt to gaze
Into each otherīs eyes
And didnīt sit side by side
Each immersed in his own
fra
gi
le
world
If everyone owned all homes
And didnīt have his own
Would there be less homeless?
Itīs one old, old dream.
But where did it go?
