Caught In the Act
April Fourteenth TwoThousandTwo
Pick up a stone and throw it at me
But look at it first, what do you see?
Is it smooth, is it shiny, pointed, or small?
Will it hit the target and cause me to fall?
While I am down will you pick up another,
Something much bigger to cause me to suffer?
Each time you deny me, resisting my charms
Is like casting another with hope that it harms
The love that I feel for this person, my friend,
Now throw down those stones and go where we've been.
