    Lord Alfred Tennyson "The Kraken"

Please help me. I am in a correspondence course and having a bit of a hard time. I'm just now getting to "poetic meter," and I'm LOST. I'm not a Literature major in the least. I do, however have to insert foot breaks into Tennyson's poem. I have another I must do it with also. Can someone please explain: iamb, trochee, dactyl, anapest? I'm clueless. My professor doesn't answer E-mail, so I'm getting nowhere.
    Thank you.

if you hit "control" and "F" on your computer, and type "Measures of verse" in the box, it should bring you to the stuff you need.

Then we sat on the edge of the earth, with our feet dangling over the side, and marvelled that we had found each other.
