I don't why, but I've imagined you as someone who always speaks monotonously and you sound darn sarcastic it's funny!

*gasp* I frickin love that thing.

By the way, I don't mean all guys should go around in garter belts or something. But long skirts look so neat on them. Besides, what's this with women getting pestered to hell and called butch and all sorts of strange reactions, unless they wear tight shirts and heels and things. But men wear whatever baggy-a** junk they want like they're sex gods in a potato sack? DOUBLE STANDARD.

Oh, I almost forgot my random thought. Okay, two random thoughts.

BAD: She renegged, the witch! AAAGGHHH!!! *levels several small cities* Last week I called to follow up on my application for like the fifth time, and the manager said, "Oh, great! We need people. How soon would you be able to start? Call me next Sunday and we'll have the schedules all worked out." So I called today and she said, "Oh, thanks Emily. We don't need a new person right now, but we'll be hanging on to your name, all right?" And I very sweetly said, "Okay, that's fine. Thanks. Bye." I'm so angry. So I don't have a job after all. She definitely led me to believe I was starting, like THIS WEEK.

GOOD: Small children in church usually suck, especially due to their utter lack of volume control. But it kind of made my day this time. I was late to go over the psalm with the organist, so I was hurrying down to the church. There was an old lady and like a 4-year-old girl, the old lady said "hi," I said "hi," I hurried past them. When I was about five feet past the little girl said loudly to her grandma, "She's pretty." Grandma was like, a little embarrassed, "Yes, she is, isn't she?"

^ A darn long thought. I can't have that big of a thought; my concentration span is too short.

Allow me to inform you ajoe that I am fully capable of using my voice in the most unmotonous ways such as yelling at dogs while in a foul temper, or was that a child, it's so hard to tell the difference between the two.

Oh, well, it's kind of hard to tell when we're not face-to-face (something to hate about communicating via writing only)

Why do people in this forum have a tendency to go off-topic? One thread with a subject of one thing can go on discussing something else!

I thought this was the "go off topic" thread? (It's called "random thoughts," after all.)

Random thought: Why do you always have to run to catch the ice cream man? Is he not paying attention? Is it part of the experience? Being older than 10 I'd rather calmly approach the truck and order my ice cream, maybe I'm supposed to go to the store now to get it, but there's little amusment in that approach to quench my sweettooth.

It's our primal tendency to hunt for food. It's an accomplishment to run down prey (in this case ice cream) on the street rather than go into the store and see shelves lined with "prey" ...

Nah, it's because ice cream man is a menial, hot, part-time summer job and he gets paid whether he stops or not. He'd prefer not to have to deal with swarms of children trying to make up their mind and shouting at him all at once.

lol, yeah this is the Random Thoughts thread, but we also go off topic elsewhere (such as at Koa's 1000th post)
