A balance of both, but I think street smarts will get one further in terms of "progress."

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Depends on of what you refer; for example, I prefer the dairy products in my refrigerator new.
With reference to 'The Literature Network,' I prefer many of my books old - the nostalgic ones.

er...no idea cos either way i'd made it sound wrong (and isn't is 'pyjamas'? or is there something I don't know here??? )
*oops everyday you learn something new... it's 'pyjamas' for us British...
Anyway i guess the prononuciation of the a would strongly depend on the person and their origins...and I don't want to know how that 'dam' sounds... Thinking about it, I'd make it sound like the a in 'seance' but then I dont think I've heard it prononuced
LOL is this an answer? Welcome to Koa's phonetics problems' corner
