    ^an excruciatingly bleak choice.

    PUNT

    I choose NPR

(Incidentally, years ago, I posed this very question on this very thread, and emily(bunch-o-nums) responded with exactly the same response.

Mother Jones, although National Review is a well written periodical that does not get in the slough.

Sancho, I appreciate your kindness, thank you. smiles...

the baseball book im reading (in the last chapter) is leonard koppett's "the thinking fan's guide to baseball"--its been a pretty good read. speaking of your braves---I just read in the book that when hank aaron was traded from Atlanta to Milwaukee at the end of his career, he ended up playing in the same stadium he started at there.

that's a fun question tony. I think because so many books we read are 3rd person, i see the 1st person books as special treats.

however, I think I could easily live with all books being 3rd person as compared to living with all books being 1st person.

so which perspective am I answering from? ack! laughs...

im going to go with 1st person books as treats.

earl grey or English breakfast tea?

lemme know if you get the book Sancho and end up reading (and hopefully) liking it. its just a little bit dated, you might have better success finding it online at one of the used places.

oh no way danik! cashews are the best! laughs...although sometimes pistachios can beat 'em! now that I am thinking of it though, have you ever had "beer nuts"---those are made with peanuts (I think) and those are right up there too.

totally provolone over limburger. though the latter's making me think of my love for abbott and Costello.

which is a nice segue into the marx brothers, or abbott and Costello?

Never heard of "beer nuts", bounty, but I love cashew nuts too! But they are very expensive.

Certainly dinos, real and fictional ones!
